“Balik-Loob”: Alfredo Esquillo at Silverlens

SILVERLENS is pleased to announce the solo exhibition of Alfredo Esquillo, one of the highlights of his silver anniversary celebration as an artist, and his first with the gallery. Titled Balik-Loob, the show revisits Esquillo’s fluency in the medium of oil-on-paper, which the artist methodically began exploring at the beginning of the millennium.

“Strange Attractors” : Mariano Ching, Mark Andy Garcia, Gene Paul Martin, and Jaime Pacena II at Artery Art Space

At Artery Art Space is “Strange Attractors” featuring paintings by Mariano Ching, Mark Andy Garcia, Gene Paul Martin, and Jaime Pacena II, an exhibit reconfiguring the body in space along interventions in representational form guided by inmost concepts of the self that prefigure greater bodies of social, psychological, emotional, and symbolic meanings. The exhibition runs until 25 August.

“Incarnator”: Paul Pfeiffer in Bellas Artes Outpost Until 15 September

Until 15 September at Bellas Artes Outpost in Karrivin Plaza is Incarnator, a solo exhibition by Paul Pfeiffer, curated by Diana Campbell Betancourt. This exhibition expands from the artist’s internationally acclaimed eponymous video which is further brought to life through a series of life-sized sculptures, all of which were produced during Pfeiffer’s six-month residency at Bellas Artes Projects in Bagac, Bataan, Philippines in 2018.
